Use me, or lose me! Inkjet cartridges contain fast-drying ink, so printing several times a month helps prevent the print head from clogging with dried ink.
For non-printhead cartridges used in Brother and Epson printers, never let the printer sit empty. Ink must be present at the printhead. Always keep a second set on hand for quick replacement.
Store inkjet cartridges in a cool place if not using them right away.
Laser cartridges do not require drying time. Keep a spare cartridge on the shelf so you’re never “down” when you need it—like on a Sunday at 8 PM for your kid’s school project due Monday morning!
Automatic updates may disable your printer, costing you time and money. This may also lock you out of using refilled or generic cartridges.
